Your face does the dancing
The reference take sets the room, the camera and the moves. The face, hair and clothes come from your photo, and they stay the same in every frame. That is why a clear, front-facing shot matters more than a fancy background. The model reads your face from the reference image and keeps it through the flip, the step back and the toss. If the photo is blurry or the face is turned away, the render has less to hold on to. Use a photo where you look straight at the lens.
